It’s been much more than a year now Honestly, this is probably true for anyone, but once things turn out well, you get busy living real life and don’t even think about writing reviews. Then I saw someone below say that if things went well, don’t just disappear and at least leave a review once, so I’m writing this.
First, I had a bulbous, low, and spread-out nose, and because my skin was thin, I was very worried the silicone would show through. My existing nose filler was already showing through at the nasal tip. I wanted to improve the spreading when I smiled and the broad look from the front, so costal cartilage and silicone were used, and I also had alar reduction. At first, the swelling was tremendous, and from the middle to the tip of my nose it bulged upward like Mickey Mouse shoes. The glabella was also high like Avatar, so I even cried at home looking in the mirror, but in the end it was all swelling. When I told the director about the above in the early period, he said that if it came out slim right now, the outline of the silicone would stand out later, and that it was swelling so I should wait a little. Just as he said, it was all swelling. The major swelling and the Mickey Mouse shoe-like nose shape disappeared after about 2-3 months, and I think it became natural around the 4-month mark. Around 1 year, it settled so naturally that it really felt like my own nose. Should I say it settled as if every aspect had been refined in Photoshop.. It becomes much prettier. I chose this place because I felt that if the nasal septum is touched, drooping or shape changes are unavoidable, and I’m very satisfied because I think they made it fit my face in terms of both stability and shape! When the director was previously at Sein, it was mainly reconstruction, so I had some doubts about aesthetic sense. Also, when reading reviews, please don’t decide on a clinic based on just a one-month review.. They say you need to watch a nose for 2 years. In reality, because of my job, I see many people around me who have had rhinoplasty, and deformities really happen easily. In particular, I see so many chalk-like noses where the nasal tip gets absorbed or droops, or the silicone outline looks burdensome.
The style this director pursues is a nasal tip with definition but still natural. They explain and show this sufficiently during the consultation. I don’t think it’s the pointed, flashy kind of feeling. However, in reviews I do sometimes see cases with no columella or a high glabella, so if that bothers you, please emphasize it specifically. The director has an engineer-like style, so they are not the type to delicately care for emotions and empathize, so keep that in mind. If you emphasize what you want, what you want fixed, and what you really want to avoid during the design consultation right before surgery, I think even the fine details will be satisfying!
There are times when I feel bitter because I’ve realized a lot from the change in appearance after surgery, but there have been far more happy moments. When I see bad reviews, I feel upset too, but nowhere can be 100% satisfying. I sincerely hope you have a good surgery. I’m grateful to the director too^^
