At a large hospital, they recommended contouring by shaving the bone for a three-part doll-like line. At a mid-sized hospital, they said my lower face was small and did not recommend facial contouring. But when I came here, they said they could create a 1:1:1 ratio from my forehead to the tip of my chin with chin-tip advancement, so even though it cost more than twice as much as the large hospital, I decided to have surgery. The doctor definitely has a clear aesthetic preference of their own (not a “plastic surgery look” or doll-like line), and seems to pursue a natural, actor-like appearance. They also said that if they performed the surgery, my face would absolutely not sag. My facial line naturally became smaller with less empty space. However, I do not recommend the nose. I did it thinking, “Since I’m lying down for surgery, I should do everything at once,” but (the nasal bridge looks natural, while the nasal tip feels too upturned..) The staff are all kind. However, because it’s a major surgery, it’s very difficult and painful. I don’t think I could ever do it again …
