At a large hospital, they recommended contouring by shaving the face into a 3-part doll-like line. At a mid-sized hospital, they said my lower face was small and did not recommend facial contouring, but when I came here, they said they would make the ratio from my forehead to chin tip 1:1:1 with advancement genioplasty, so even though it cost more than twice as much as the large hospital, I decided on surgery. The doctor clearly has his own aesthetic preference (not the artificial/doll-like line) and seems to pursue a natural, actor-like look. He also said that if he does the surgery, the face absolutely will not sag. The facial line naturally has less empty space. However, I do not recommend the nose. I did it thinking, “If I’m lying down for surgery, I should do everything at once,” but (the nasal bridge is natural, but the nasal tip feels too upturned..) All the staff are also kind. However, since it is major surgery, it is very hard and painful. I don’t think I could ever do it again …
