Thinking about it now, I feel like this is what a factory-style plastic surgery clinic is like. There were many foreigners, and there were only consultation rooms and treatment rooms, with no individual doctor’s office. On the day of surgery, the doctor casually marked the line in the operating room, and when I mentioned the semi-out line we had discussed during the consultation, they got irritated and said it could become sausage-like. When I said my original line was semi-out and asked if they could just keep it the same, they did not answer. Throughout the surgery, they kept getting annoyed that I was tearing a lot. I had ptosis correction because of uneven eyes, but after surgery, one side had my forehead rising and the eye would not open, so I had revision surgery on just one eye. Up to that point, I had heard that Hering’s phenomenon can occur with ptosis correction for originally uneven eyes, so I thought that must be why. During the revision surgery, they injected Botox because my forehead was rising, got annoyed that I was tearing a lot, and pressed down roughly and hard while doing an ice compress, which made me extremely anxious. In the end, the revised eye was overcorrected and opened in a triangular shape, but the doctor glanced at it casually in the treatment room, said it seemed to have turned out well, and tried to just move on. When I asked if it was overcorrected, they reacted defensively, saying hadn’t they told me from the beginning that both eyes could not be the same. When I said the issue was not eye asymmetry but overcorrection, they said the surgery was difficult so it would be hard to do again, and even if they did it again, there was no guarantee they could match it. They told me to hold my eyelashes and pull downward for a month. After a month it came down a little, but it was still overcorrected, and the inner corner of the eye felt tight and painful, but they said that was not because of the plastic surgery. They said that if it still did not match after 3-4 months, we should adjust it again and to contact them then. It has been 4 months since the surgery, and in the end, just like before surgery, my eyes are still uneven, and on top of that, the shape looks awkward and wide-eyed, with one eye opening in a triangular shape. One double-eyelid line droops, and the other is set as two lines pointing upward. And now the issue is not appearance but pain.. The overcorrected side still hurts and often becomes bloodshot. They said they would do revision surgery for me, but I am too anxious to have it done there again. I received a discount on the condition that I post 10 reviews, but the clinic has not even contacted me to post reviews.
