Medial epicanthoplasty for a stuffy-looking eye shape with a spacebar-like gap between the brows

I was often told things like my glabella area was wide, that I somehow looked like an unfairly treated fish, and that the inner corners of my eyes looked a bit stuffy. Because of that, I developed a complex about my wide glabella area, so I decided to get medial epicanthoplasty. Instead of searching online, I got recommendations from people around me, and that clinic had the most cases for canthoplasty, so I chose it.

The only cosmetic surgery I had ever had was double eyelid surgery at 17, and I had never had any other plastic surgery, so honestly I was cautious. Originally, before this surgery, I was thinking of doing lateral canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty + medial epicanthoplasty, but during the consultation, both the doctor and the coordinator said I did not really need lateral or lower canthoplasty and that I would look prettier with just medial epicanthoplasty. I was impressed that they recommended only the surgery I actually needed haha

I asked them to make it look natural, and they said that if they opened it too much the way I wanted, I might need a restoration later, so even if I ended up having revision surgery, it would be better to open it less for now. I liked that they suggested an appropriate solution.

They also explained the pre- and post-op precautions very thoroughly. For the first day, they said the eyes could look closer together than my original line, so I kept watching the progress, and it is getting super natural as time goes on! It seems to have been opened exactly as much as I wanted without being excessive, so I am satisfied!!

The photos are, in order: before medial epicanthoplasty, day 1 after medial epicanthoplasty, 1 week, and 2 weeks later (with makeup on)
