I had partial-incision double eyelid surgery, and maybe because my eyes were originally long and I didn’t have much fat, it turned out really well. Even when I close my eyes, there’s no scar at all, and it’s been 5 years now, but it hasn’t loosened or lowered. I got a bit of scarring when I had epicanthoplasty, but that also disappeared over time.
