I'm looking around for revision surgery for incisional double eyelids I had about 10 years ago, and I'm visiting places around Sinsa. I've been to 3 out of 7 places so far. Except for no. 2, they're all single-doctor clinics.
1) Sinsa Station ㅇㅎㅅ (single doctor) Consultation fee 5,000 won The consultant was kind and didn't intervene much. The doctor was calm and took eye photos right away, then explained while drawing on them. When I asked whether I needed epicanthoplasty, he told me not to..
-> I liked that it was honest and straightforward, and the consultation wait was short. Overall kind. The price is a bit high.
2) Sinsa Station ㄴㅅㅎ (ㄱㄷㅎ) Consultation fee X The consultant intervened a bit. It seemed like there were several consultants (considering there were 3 doctors and a lot of rooms..?) But she didn't make me feel intimidated and was kind, so you can say everything you want to say. When I said I wanted to raise the end of my double-eyelid line, she answered that it probably wouldn't be possible, but when the doctor came, I asked again. If you don't ask, it's your loss! There were many reviews saying the doctor looked tired, but he just seems quiet and calm. I'm the type who thinks doing one's main job properly is the kindest thing, so it was okay. He designed the line very naturally, so I'm thinking about it... (both in a good and bad sense) They give a discount if you put down a deposit.
-> There is a bit of a wait. After meeting the consultant, I think I waited 30 minutes for the doctor. Price is average?
3) Sinsa Station ㄷㅂㅇ (single doctor) Consultation fee 10,000 The consultant had absolutely no intervention. She only asked the direction of surgery I wanted and connected me directly to the director. The director felt warm.. Among the 3 places, the consultation fee was the most expensive, but the consultation ended the fastest. It didn't feel like he was looking carelessly. He just said what needed to be said quickly: what can't be done can't be done, what can be done can be done, done. He also answered questions. The consultant didn't pressure me to book, and there was no deposit discount. Clean.
-> The consultation style itself was just clean. I've seen some people who felt disappointed because it ended too quickly, but I liked it. The price was also the cheapest among the three. So far, I'm most drawn to this place.
All three recommended ptosis correction + scar removal. No recommendations for canthoplasty, lifting, etc. Even when I asked, they opposed it... Opinions differed on whether the end of the double-eyelid line could be raised.
I really wanted to go to ㅇㅎㅅ, but after going to ㄷㅂㅇ today, I'm conflicted.... I'm planning to go to two more places tomorrow... so for now I'll keep looking around.
