First, I visited two places for consultations and booked one of them.. but I’m wondering whether I should get a consultation somewhere else and cancel the booking..!
My left eye has a double eyelid, and my right eye only has a slight line, so if I roll my eye? and open it, a double eyelid appears! I have weak eye-opening strength, so I decided to have surgery
First was ㅌㅌㅇ (Nonhyeon) ㅈㅇㅈ (ㅗ) My appointment was at 10, and I went a little early, around 9:50, but the consultation started around 10:20. Why?? Because the director was late in the first place lol Since I’m the type who thinks time is important, the consultation started with me feeling a bit uneasy. They explained in detail why only my right eye doesn’t have a double eyelid. They said there’s a bit more fat on the eyelid and the eye-opening strength is weak, so they recommended an incision and ptosis correction. They said there was no need for canthoplasty. Non-incisional surgery is possible too, but they said there’s a 20% chance it could come undone. The quote was on the expensive side. There was no pressure to book on the same day. The director drew the line several times and said, because my eye condition is like this, the surgery should be done this way~
Second was ㅋㄹㅁ (Nonhyeon) My appointment was at 6, and I arrived around 5:55, and the consultation started right away. The director only drew the line once or twice and didn’t do it again. They recommended an incision, ptosis correction, and epicanthoplasty (lateral canthoplasty). When I asked the reason for canthoplasty, they said it’s needed for the line to form in a rounded way. Otherwise, the front part of the line gets hidden? they said. Here too, non-incisional surgery is possible, but they said an incision would be a bit more effective. Compared with ㅌㅌㅇ, the explanation was a bit less + the consultation time was quite short
I did book it, but… there’s a very high chance I’ll cancel. It wasn’t many places, but that’s the end of my consultation-shopping review!
