The doctor explained things for longer than I expected. However, he seemed to prefer autologous costal cartilage or donor rib cartilage. There were not many reviews mentioning septal cartilage. Other clinics all said my septal cartilage was firm, but this was the only one that said it was large but might be weak. Then, after touching it, the doctor said it seemed firm and would probably be fine.
Even so, I felt steered toward autologous costal cartilage. I wonder whether he has not performed many septal cartilage procedures or lacks confidence in them. The clinic also seems to favor glamorous results; the review photos show almost nothing but noses. Since I want a natural result, I feel it would become too glamorous, so I will pass.
I arrived exactly on time but still waited an hour and a half. My butt hurt.
