It's been about 4 years since I had LASIK. I had the exam and did not wear contacts for about 2 weeks before surgery. I had worn contacts for quite a long time, so I was worried my corneas might be in bad shape, but thankfully they said my corneas were thick. I was debating SMILE LASIK but just went with LASIK, and my vision is so clear that I'm very satisfied!!
