It has been 1 year and 7 months since the surgery! I had Today LASEK, and the total cost, including medication, was about 2 million won..? (They gave me a 100,000 won discount because I booked the surgery on the day of the consultation) I wore glasses and contacts for about 20-plus years, and at some point I thought I should get LASEK, so haha I ended up doing it impulsively. People around me who had vision correction said that their quality of life improved much more than any side effects they experienced, and that helped me decide on the surgery. The surgery itself seemed to take less than a minute. Right after it was over, I could still see as I walked out of the operating room (a bit blurry because of the anesthetic eye drops), and on the day of surgery I was discharged and ate right away, but within less than an hour the anesthesia wore off and I think there was some pain. There was still some pain until the third day, so my eyes seemed very swollen, and because I’m very sensitive about safety, I lived on artificial tears for several months and wore sunglasses plus blue-light glasses. Now it’s so, so comfortable. Recommended
