When I looked at people who had nose surgery, it seemed like there were a lot of people who had it done two or three times. For me, at least for my first surgery, they shaped the line I wanted well, so I like that I don’t think I’ll need revision surgery because I’m unhappy with the design. During the consultation, I said I wanted to do it properly with my first surgery, so I didn’t mind using costal cartilage, and I ended up having surgery using autologous costal cartilage. I’m definitely glad we used it. Also, maybe because the director has done a lot of autologous costal cartilage surgeries, my recovery went well too.
