It’s been 3 weeks since I had revision incisional double eyelid surgery with ptosis correction.
Not much time has passed, so people might say, “Why are you being so sensitive?”.. but the asymmetry is seriously so bad that I feel like I can’t live like this..
They say that by one month after double eyelid surgery, the major swelling goes down, and after that it’s just residual swelling, so there isn’t much difference.
Were there any ladies like me who still had severe asymmetry at week 3?
I was seriously going into such a bad mental spiral, so I contacted the manager, and they told me to first come into the clinic, so I went to the clinic and asked.
As soon as the doctor saw my eyes, they said, “It’s not even 3 months, it’s 3 weeks?”
And no matter what I asked, they just said, “It’s because of swelling”.. Without saying things like close your eyes, open them again, nothing like that, the moment we made eye contact they said it was swelling.
I asked about the line itself being different, the difference in the gap between my eyebrow bone and eye, all of that, and they kept saying it was swelling, so I didn’t even have the energy to ask anymore and just gave up.
The gap between my eyebrow bone and eye is severely different, and it’s already been 2 weeks since the stitches were removed with truly no change in swelling.. If it were getting even a little better every day, I could at least feel some possibility, but nothing has changed from the day of surgery until now;
I seriously feel like I’m going to lose my mind.. Even when I’m doing other things, I can’t focus because I’m regretting the choice I made, and no matter how much I search, I can’t find a case like mine..
Objectively, what do people who have had double eyelid surgery think
