I had surgery for a deviated septum, rhinitis, and nasal valve reconstruction / nasal tip with septal cartilage and silicone for the nasal bridge. The swelling lasted a long time, and they said they would put in 3 to 3.5 mm of silicone, but I was told they actually inserted 4 mm. I liked the nasal tip, but the nasal bridge was too high. I just got by with it, but at the 6-month mark, the nasal bridge became red and swollen, so I went to the hospital, and they said the silicone was moving. Silicone removal
