Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Open Rhinoplasty (Osteotomy + Hiko Removal + Silicone + Ear Cartilage Bulbous Nose Correction)…

Hello! While working, I kept telling myself I had to save money and get rhinoplasty, and the day after I quit my job, I had the surgery right away. I am now on day 14.

Tomorrow I am going to the clinic to have the stitches inside my nose removed + the stitches behind my ear where the cartilage was taken removed. I am so nervous I cannot sleep, so after only lurking, I am writing this review.

For the first 7 days after surgery, it was truly so, so, so, so stuffy and difficult that time would not pass. Now that I am on day 14, the bridge area does not hurt when I use foam cleanser or apply lotion, and it feels like my own skin!

It really felt like a fake nose had been placed on top, but seeing it recover and become more natural like this is fascinating haha But the nasal tip is still extremely hard, and it still feels tight when I press my lips together while doing lip makeup ㅠㅠ

I bled a lot during surgery, so I had cotton packing inside my nose for the full 7 days. The clinic said they sometimes do that depending on the case, and if osteotomy is done, the amount of bleeding can naturally be greater than with a standard surgery!

And I visited the clinic the day after surgery and the day after that for disinfection, cotton replacement, and a swelling laser treatment! On day 7 after surgery, the stitches in the open-incision area were removed, and it stung.

It hurt a little, but more than the pain, I think the relief of finally being free from stitches was bigger.

But on the other hand, I have heard that nose surgery usually has to be done again at least once someday. Since the surgery is done under sleep anesthesia, I do not feel pain during it so that part is okay, but thinking about spending another 7 days of hell makes me feel uneasy,, haha
