For more than 20 years, I’ve always thought monolids were attractive, but recently I’ve become very conscious of how small my eyes look in rear-camera photos, so I’m looking into double-eyelid surgery for the first time. I prefer thin, natural lines like Kazuha or Jung Chae-yeon.
Places I’ve visited so far: -Won-A Plastic Surgery (recommended by a friend): Their aesthetic seems more glamorous than what I have in mind. They recommended ptosis correction too, but said that if the price was burdensome, I could just do double-eyelid surgery, which made me trust them. Since it was my first plastic-surgery consultation, I said I would think about other places and did not book. Natural-adhesion double-eyid surgery alone was in the low 1-million-won range. -And Plastic Surgery (I went because people on a beauty app said they were natural, and the doctor explained things in detail): But both the doctor and the consultant insisted that non-incisional ptosis correction was essential, so I lost trust at the end. I understand it is not always necessary, and I heard it can cause side effects if done poorly, so I passed for now. Natural adhesion, ptosis correction, and fat removal were in the 1.5-million-won range.
The clinics I researched and plan to visit are Nature, Hani, Noh Sang-hoon, ES Cheongdam, Really, Ilmiri, and Almond. Pop is also famous, but it seemed factory-style, so I canceled my consultation. I’m thinking of visiting about four more from the list in one day. If anyone has experience with doctors whose aesthetic matches mine, please recommend them. I’d prefer a clinic with one chief doctor, a long-term aftercare period, and good follow-up care. I’ve researched properly, right…? If there are any blacklisted places, please tell me.
