It’s a factory-style clinic. I saw an Instagram ad for underarm laser hair removal, 5 sessions for 19,000 won, VAT not included, and went there. They said that rather than doing 5 sessions, usually about 10 sessions are needed for a definite effect, so I paid for 10 sessions. I started treatment in 2021 and went once every 6 weeks, so it took about a year. It’s not that underarm hair doesn’t grow at all, but it grows short and thin, so it was easy enough to pull out with tweezers. The person doing the treatment changed every time I went. You just go in for the treatment, they apply gel, you lie down, the doctor comes, applies the laser for about 2 minutes, and leaves. It seems to take about 5 minutes total. It wasn’t a machine like Apogee; it was a somewhat old machine. The effect is okay, so I recommend it to people who want to get it done cheaply.
