How long do you have to wait after surgery to know whether the crooked nose has been corrected or not? During my previous surgery, the columella was crooked from the very beginning, but with this surgery, even though it’s only day 5 after surgery, the columella is still standing straight. Could it just look straight because of the swelling? Are there people whose nose gradually became crooked after removing the splint and as the swelling went down? Correcting the crooked nose was the top priority for this surgery, so I’m extremely anxious that it might bend.
