I hated wearing glasses so much that I got LASEK as soon as I became an adult. I don’t know if it’s because of the LASEK or if my eye health is just bad... My eyes keep feeling dry and sting... When I wake up, they hurt so much even before I open them, and they feel gritty... I can’t even open my eyes without artificial tears. I wonder if this is normal... Maybe it’s because my eyes were already bad before surgery too, like dry...? Maybe because my eyes are dry, I feel tired all day and get headaches quickly... It’s been over 5+@ years since the surgery, and ever since the surgery I keep feeling like my eyes are getting worse again Now I look at things while squinting... Do I have to live like this forever... Do I have to wear glasses again...? People who haven’t done it yet should think about their own eye health condition and be careful before getting LASEK...
