After wearing glasses for about 17 years, I got SMILE LASIK. At first my eyes stung a little, but they got better quickly. My vision was in the minus range, and I also had astigmatism. As for side effects, when I look to the side? Like when glaring.. When I look that way, I feel dizzy. I wonder if it’s because my focus doesn’t align.. Before surgery, when I wore contacts, I had a lot of eye discharge and my eyes were extremely dry, but now, as long as the weather doesn’t affect them, I have zero dryness. It’s seriously so good.
