I had never had cosmetic surgery before, but this time I had lower-eyelid fat repositioning and lower-eyelid fat grafting together at [Clinic A]. I lost about 10 kg starting last year, and since then my under-eyes had been bothering me. After losing weight, they looked deeply hollow, while the fat I already had seemed to bulge out more. I disliked the bulging part more than the hollowing.
I had many worries because it was my first surgery, but the consultation was detailed and easy to understand. They recommended combining grafting rather than doing fat repositioning alone, so I proceeded that way. For a while after surgery there was swelling and my under-eyes felt unfamiliar, so I think I kept looking in the mirror for no reason.
It has already been five months, and I have become so used to it that I wonder why I ever worried. Before, the bulging and hollow areas looked separate and created severe shadows, but now there is hardly any boundary. I still have no particular discomfort, and I am most satisfied that I worry about my under-eyes much less.
