Nose Surgery Reviews

So happy with my refined nasal tip and columella line: an honest revision-rhinoplasty review

My original nose wasn’t extremely unusual or a major insecurity, so I deliberated a lot before deciding on revision surgery. I worried that if I had it done again, it might turn out worse than before. So even until the surgery, I think I was more worried than excited. After careful deliberation and consultations, I decided to have nose surgery with Dr. Kim Daehwa at Lowell Plastic Surgery. In particular, my skin is thin and doesn’t stretch well, so I was even more worried that creating a pretty nasal-tip shape would be difficult. But I feel Dr. Kim operated according to the condition of my nose. In the end, he shaped and lifted the tip beautifully, and I’m very satisfied. It doesn’t feel like it was simply made high; it looks natural with my face while the tip has become clearly prettier, exactly matching what I wanted. I worried that I might be meddling unnecessarily with a revision, but now I’m so satisfied that those worries feel meaningless. I’m still recovering, so it will probably look more natural with time, but the result is already better than I expected, and I feel happy every time I look in the mirror haha. People like me, whose noses aren’t particularly abnormal but who have small areas they wish were better, probably have many worries about revision too. In the end, I think it was a good decision to have Dr. Kim operate on me. I like the natural result and the beautifully shaped tip the most :)
