I visited two places for consultations because I was planning to get surgery for a receding chin. One is famous enough that everyone knows it if you mention the name, and the other was a hospital run by a single director that only people in the know seem to know about.
1. ㅇㅇ Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic (famous) -Consultation fee: 20,000 won -X-ray, facial photo shoot: yes -Review: The consultation was shorter than I expected. They said I only needed advancement of the chin tip.
2. ㅅㅇㅌ Dental Clinic (introduced by an acquaintance) -Consultation fee: 50,000 won -X-ray (they also took a CT here), facial photo shoot: yes, taking impressions -It felt like they consulted with me more thoroughly than ㅇㅇ. They explained how it would be good to proceed with surgery based on my occlusion. The director clearly said no when something was not right, so as a T-type person I was very satisfied .. *This is a place my acquaintance found after going around for consultations, and their surgery turned out so well that I asked about it. (They said there were many surgery bookings in winter and recommended booking in advance.) I was hesitant because there aren’t many reviews here, but the consultation was thorough and it felt like they looked at things more professionally, so I recommend at least going for a consultation.
