For level-up, I’m shyly revealing my nose like this.. lol I had alar reduction 2 years ago, and I don’t really know things like external/internal? I just went along with what the director did. It was probably external, since they cut and attached it all the way to the outside. At that time, most people didn’t really recommend alar reduction, but I had to somehow fix my nose without my parents noticing and without it looking obvious, so I had a long-term plan and started with alar reduction first. (Now that I look at the photos, I can’t believe my nose used to look like that lol) I think even just the alar reduction reduced a large part of my complex. However, since the photos were right after surgery, the alar shape looks nicely rounded, but now, 2 years later, the lower part has spread out a little more. I think it’s probably because of the tension from the muscles on both cheek sides. And as for side effects, depending on my facial expression, my face feels a little crooked. It was probably like that even before surgery, but should I say it was less noticeable? Even now, it’s not crooked like facial nerve palsy, but it does seem a bit more noticeable. Also, as the scar contracted over 2 years, it gradually became a little more prominent.. I didn’t do any separate scar care. Anyway, even considering those points, I’m living thinking that I made the right choice getting the surgery. I think ugly alae can only be solved by excision.. No matter how much I raised the nasal bridge, it wasn’t a shape that seemed like it would improve. I plan to keep improving little by little with surgeries that don’t look obvious.
