Nose Surgery Reviews

Review of implant-free revision rhinoplasty at Jungwoo Plastic Surgery

Hello! It has almost been a month since my revision rhinoplasty, so I’m leaving a review:) I originally had a bulbous nose and thin skin because I had filler injected into my bridge and tip. My tip was blunt and would not become more defined, and I wasn’t happy with my bridge either. What bothered me most was the overly pronounced half-socks line and the spreading of the tip! In addition, inflammation caused by the tip filler had developed, leaving the tip red. As soon as the surgeon saw me, they recommended surgery as soon as possible. I did an enormous amount of research online and in person. After seeing many reviews where the nose looked like the person’s original nose, I booked a consultation at Jungwoo Plastic Surgery. After consulting with the surgeon, I trusted them even more and felt certain, so I decided right away! I really dislike unnatural noses. Looking through the reviews, I saw many people say that the surgeon has a good aesthetic sense and does not make noses excessively high. That gave me confidence. The surgeon personally consulted with me from beginning to end. They clearly pointed out what was possible and what was not, and said they would do their best, which put me at ease. They accurately understood what I wanted and designed it accordingly. All the nurses were very kind too haha. After removing the filler, I proceeded without an implant. Since it was revision rhinoplasty, I had implant-free surgery using autologous costal cartilage and temporal cartilage. At first, because of the swelling, I wondered, “Oh? Is it a little high?” The surgeon explained that the tip would gradually come down, so I waited reassured. The swelling has gone down a lot now! The tip is still a little swollen, but I would be satisfied even if it went down just a little more from here. Most importantly, it doesn’t look like I had surgery. I look prettier as if I had simply lost weight naturally, so I’m extremely satisfied!! My nose seems to have turned out much prettier than I expected, so I’m truly, truly happy. I hope this helps anyone deliberating over filler complications or revision rhinoplasty!!!
