Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

One-month review of three-part facial contouring at Cookie Plastic Surgery

It’s already been a month since my three-part facial contouring surgery at Cookie Plastic Surgery! Before surgery, I was concerned about my overall facial shape, including my cheekbones, square jaw, and chin length, so I consulted several clinics and decided carefully. My goal was to improve my features to suit my face rather than simply reduce them as much as possible. I had cheekbone reduction, square-jaw surgery, and chin shortening and advancement, with facial asymmetry also considered in the surgical plan. The detailed explanation tailored to my face during the consultation helped me decide. Immediately after surgery, there was swelling, and opening my mouth and chewing were uncomfortable, so recovery was not as easy as I expected. At first I had to be careful even about eating and couldn’t live normally, but I’m gradually adapting as time passes. I was worried that I might have managed things incorrectly because of concerns about nonunion and other aspects, so I contacted the coordinator many times. She also checked my CT scans and examined everything carefully, which always reassured me! Since it has only been a month, there is still swelling, and sometimes the area around my jaw feels tight or chewing is uncomfortable. I’m waiting for recovery without rushing, and I’m extremely satisfied with my facial shape! During this month, I realized that with facial contouring, the recovery process and how carefully you manage it are just as important as the surgery itself. I’m looking forward to seeing how my facial line settles as more swelling goes down. I’ll continue taking good care of myself and monitoring my progress so the residual swelling can resolve quickly!
