My jawline was one of my biggest complexes for a long time. I felt stressed whenever I looked in the mirror and had wanted to improve my lower face for years. I searched diligently for reviews and information, and after consultations, I had surgery at the clinic I felt I could trust the most. When I went back for a follow-up, I asked various questions about things I had wondered about after surgery, and they explained each one carefully, which reassured me! At my first consultation, I was also deliberating whether to do my cheekbones along with my jaw. But the surgeon said I could do the jaw first and reconsider the cheekbones later. At the time, I wondered whether I should just do everything at once, but looking back, I’m really glad I listened to the surgeon lol. After having only jaw surgery, my overall face shape became much softer and had the feeling I wanted, so I realized I didn’t need to do my cheekbones after all. Looking at my face now, I even think it might have looked longer if I had done the cheekbones too. If I had indulged my wishes and done them together, I might have regretted it, so I’m even more satisfied that they considered what suited my face instead of recommending everything indiscriminately. What makes me proudest is that people I know say I simply look naturally prettier rather than obviously having had surgery, which makes me feel even better haha. I’ve also heard many people say that something about my face has changed and that I look much prettier. Improving my lower face has definitely led to more compliments, which makes me happy. I used to feel very stressed about my jaw and worry about my face shape in photos, but those feelings have largely disappeared these days. I had worried a lot because this was a surgery I had considered for a long time, but now I’m extremely satisfied, and I especially feel I made the right choice by doing only my jaw without being overly ambitious!
