Liposuction Reviews

Cheek fat grafting

Concerns before the procedure: My face looked angular and older because it lacked fat. Concerns after the procedure: Possible pain, skin problems, recovery time, side effects such as fat clumping, and sagging with age. I had these concerns for a year, during which the hollowing of my cheeks became worse. After reading reviews saying that moderate fat grafting can reduce concerns about side effects and sagging, I decided to proceed. Consultation experience: The staff were kind and attentive. I consulted with Director Moon Hye-young, who accurately identified the facial asymmetry I had noticed while looking in the mirror. She said we would proceed in a way that could improve the asymmetry, though not perfectly. I trusted the consultation because she accurately identified my asymmetry and said the procedure would take it into account, so I decided to proceed. The director recommended adding a little fat to the front cheeks, the cheeks below the cheekbones, and the nasolabial folds. Since I wanted the most natural result possible, I wanted fat grafting only in the cheeks below the cheekbones, where the hollowing was severe, and she agreed to reflect my preference. We decided to observe the results after the first session and perform a second session if additional correction was needed. Results: There was less swelling than expected on the day of the procedure, but it became quite swollen on days two to three. I had no pain in the face where fat was grafted. There was slight pain in the thigh where fat was harvested, but it did not interfere with daily life. Movement caused some discomfort from the tissue shaking, but a compression band helped. The major swelling subsided after two weeks. While swollen, my face looked asymmetrical and I wondered when it would go down, but after the major swelling subsided, the areas that had looked asymmetrical gradually improved. Fat was harvested from both sides through the groin, and the bruising was not as severe as expected. Additional opinion: I recommend having fat grafting in autumn or winter. Showering is difficult for two or three days immediately after surgery, and washing is limited, so summer may be challenging.
