I had orthodontic treatment for 5 years to correct my underbite and lower teeth alignment, but all I got was nasolabial folds and weakened gums. There wasn’t any major change, and if I don’t wear my retainer, my teeth just keep shifting.. If I had known it would be like this, I wouldn’t have done it. I think I now understand that orthodontic treatment needs to be decided on carefully..
