Around the third quarter of 2020, I visited because, with COVID and all, I was wearing a mask a lot, and I wanted to fix my protruding mouth, malocclusion, and temporomandibular joint disc issue.
They said protruding mouth usually does not improve much with orthodontic treatment anyway, and that temporomandibular joint issues differ by case, but they suggested we at least straighten the teeth without pushing things too far.
Somehow, the orthodontic period of about 20 months ended well, and now it has been 2 and a half years since then.
I feel like my protruding mouth has gone in a bit more than expected, and the temporomandibular joint disc issue is completely gone. My teeth also looked nice, so for a while I lived looking at my teeth in the mirror every day. The downside is that I feel a bit reluctant to eat hard fruits or crustaceans, and I can tell my teeth are not as strong as they used to be.
Overall, without any major discomfort, I am currently doing well and satisfied so far.
