When I take photos, the before-and-after difference is clearly visible to the naked eye. Before surgery, whenever I took selfies, facial retouching was always essential, but now after surgery, I seriously don't retouch at all haha. That's how satisfied I am with the surgery!
My face was on the long side, so I wanted a shorter, more youthful-looking face shape and had the surgery. I had the surgery with Director Park Jae-bong at Max Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
The back-and-forth with the director went really well, and since I tend to think it is important that the director operating on my face is kind and communicates well with me too haha, I am very, very satisfied.
While I was having double jaw surgery, the director also extracted my wisdom teeth for me. In the beginning after surgery, it was a bit hard because I couldn't eat what I wanted, but from week 2, it got easier once I tried mostly soft regular foods (noodles, ice cream, soft bread haha). The clinic also told me that I was recovering quickly, and now, at two months, I am living well with no problems at all in daily life. Everyone worries about swelling, but take walks often, and as time passes it will naturally go down. Don't worry too much.
