-Revision rhinoplasty in-person consultation review-
First surgery: Silicone was placed in the nasal bridge, ear cartilage + septal cartilage were harvested and used for extension at the nasal tip, and because my nose is small and thin, autologous dermis from the buttock was used. (The nasal bridge starts too high and looks obvious, which doesn’t suit my image, for the nasal tip, the cartilage protrudes, so when viewed from the front it looks deviated to the right, and the inside of the nose is tilted to the left.. The dermis was not inserted in much quantity to begin with, so it absorbed right away- I wanted a plump nose, but from the moment I saw it after removing the splint, it already looked insufficient Because of the septal extension, the columella looks unnatural, and when I smile it feels like a droopy, arrow-shaped nose.)
1. ㄱㅅ (ㅗㄱㅐㅁ) After removing the nasal bridge silicone, dermis or AlloDerm (if it is too low, add very thin silicone+) Nasal tip: ear cartilage + dermis or AlloDerm, septal repositioning and correction of deviation *For dermis, since I’m still in my 20s, they recommended AlloDerm, and if I want, I can choose between autologous dermis and AlloDerm myself. General anesthesia (expected surgery time 4-5 hours). The quote was the most expensive.
2. ㅈㅇㅅ (ㅏㅇ ㅣㄱㅜ) After removing nasal bridge silicone, autologous dermis + (if insufficient, they said they would harvest a small amount of nearby fat and graft it together) Nasal tip: use ear cartilage + overlay dermis Local + sedation anesthesia (expected surgery time about 2 hours)
3. ㅅㅁㅇ (ㅣㅁㅣㅏㄴ) After removing the nasal bridge, they suggested using costal cartilage and overlaying dermis. (Already eliminated in my mind.. The consultation itself was very insincere and took less than 5 minutes.)
