Before and after I kept being bothered by the wide-looking feel of my alae, so I decided to proceed, but I was also worried about what if it got worse after doing it. He said that if what bothers you is the alae when you smile while bringing them together, he recommends Botox rather than alar reduction, and if you are bothered because the alae are too wide, he recommends surgery. It was not “you must do it no matter what”; he explained what should be done in which situation, so I trusted him more^^ It has been about 3 months since my alar reduction now, and people around me often say my nasal line looks sharp (I originally do have a nasal bridge) and even that it looks like I lost facial fat.
