I went to three places for consultations I have a hump, and my nasal bridge itself isn't low When people just look at my nose, I often hear that I look exotic But I didn't like looking masculine because of the hump so I started looking into nose surgery
Sinnonhyeon Luㅂㄹ CT scan O wait around ten minutes, consultation with the director was 30 minutes Proceed with hump correction + donated costal cartilage + implant-free The director said that to them, it looked like a typical hump nose They said it looked more severe not simply because of the protruding shape on the nasal dorsum, but because of the line that drops sharply from the nasal dorsum to the nasal tip.. So even though I'm a woman, it makes me look masculine and gives a strong impression, and they said my glabella itself isn't low, but it looks low because of the hump Since there's no need to make an already high nasal bridge lower, they said surgery can be done by correcting the hump and raising the nasal tip in a defined way In short, they meant osteotomy wasn't necessary Honestly, I was worried the hump wouldn't be corrected properly without osteotomy, so I asked the director 2-3 more times if it was really okay not to do it.. The director said lol they don't actually do osteotomy that often, and since my nasal bridge is already high, why would they shave that down? They tried to explain it as simply as possible so I could understand And because I already have a nasal bridge, they recommended doing it implant-free without silicone If I get greedy and put silicone in too, the nasal tip would need to be raised even higher than it is now, and then it could end up looking like an upturned nose with the nostrils showing more from the front..... ^^;;; The director explained while saying they also don't like noses that look long There were a lot of times I was being frustrating, but I think the director really explained two or three times and gave a detailed consultation

(they said this is why I look masculine) so to reduce that, osteotomy would be needed They said the nasal septum could be used for the nasal tip, so I said another hospital just told me my nasal septum was insufficient and to use donated costal cartilage, and then they said donated costal cartilage could be used too....;; They said after osteotomy of the nasal dorsum, using about 2-3 mm of silicone would be good Because my eyes and mouth are on the flashy side, they said if the design is set at semi-natural or more, it would suit me much better, and they gave a lot of compliments about how I would look after surgery
Gangnam Haㅇㅇㄷ CT scan O wait about ten minutes? consultation with the director 20-30 minutes After the third consultation, what I clearly felt was that just because it's a hump nose doesn't mean osteotomy is always the answer Here too, the director said that even though I do have a hump, my nasal bridge is already high, and asked why I assumed osteotomy had to be done no matter what The director recommended correcting it only by shaving down the hump and raising the nasal tip, and designing the nose that way (option 1 was implant-free) If I wanted an even higher nasal bridge, they said about 2 mm of silicone would be appropriate But since my midface is on the long side, they said it would be better to focus more on compensating for that There are limits to raising the nasal tip with the septal cartilage, so they recommended using rib cartilage The director seemed to prefer using autologous costal cartilage, so they first explained autologous costal cartilage in detail When I said I wanted to use donated costal cartilage, they explained donated costal cartilage too without really pressuring me. They told me everything necessary, so I felt it was good that I went for the consultation
For reference, all three places are located pretty close to each other, so they're not that far apart, so I recommend booking them all together and going for consultations at once~ But once peak season comes soon, it will probably be hard to get reservations, so aim for weekday morning to afternoon I'm going to have surgery soon at one of these places.... After setting the date, each day feels so slow, so I was bored and wrote this consultation review
