For the surgery, I went to a place I liked because of the aftercare (swelling injections, laser, scar tissue injections, self-care kit, etc.), the ability to watch CCTV in real time, and the clear before-and-after difference.
Because my nose was relatively short and small compared with other people’s, I didn’t have enough septal cartilage. They used donated costal cartilage mixed in.

Also, I originally tend to swell quite a lot morning and night, so even when I got fillers and Hiko, the swelling would last a week at a time..; But when I had nose surgery this time, maybe because the surgery itself was done cleanly, even on days 2-3, which are said to have the worst swelling, my condition was okay. Enough to order fried chicken at home.
After that, I got swelling injections at the hospital and managed it with the heat/cold pack they gave me, and after taking some walks, it seemed to go down faster.
+ If you get nose surgery after having fillers or Hiko nose thread lifts... if the remaining foreign material isn’t cleanly removed, it may not finish with a smooth shape; because of tissue adhesion, the surgery could end with an uneven, bumpy shape, they say!
So when going to have nose surgery after removal too, I think it’s best either to visit a dermatology clinic that removes it while using ultrasound, or, like me, find a hospital that properly removes the foreign material as well and have the surgery there!!
