Before, I had my nose done using only septal cartilage, and because of nostril asymmetry I was on the verge of losing my mind, so after researching and researching, I finally had revision surgery a week ago! Using ear cartilage to correct the nostril asymmetry.. And yesterday I had the splint removed, but since it’s a revision, I can’t help but focus even more on my nose, right??
Before the revision, my right nostril was pointier and visible from the front, while the left one lay nicely and was okay.
But now, after removing the splint, it’s actually the left one that shows from the front, and the right one has come down well.
The director said it won’t change much from its current state But no, it doesn’t make sense to fix asymmetry only for it to become asymmetrical the other way around…
It’s swelling, right?????? If any of you have experienced this, please let me know if it’s okay now
For reference, during my first nose surgery, the left nostril (the one that is raised now) came down a lot by the 3-month mark, you know? So now I’m having all kinds of thoughts by myself, like maybe the doctor overcorrected it during surgery because my left nostril had strong tension or something……
