This is a continuation of my previous post. My nose ended up crooked, and these are mid-stage photos, but when I smile, it looks extremely unpleasant.
When I went to the hospital last month, the hospital said they would refund the full surgery fee of 18 million KRW (I have a recording), but today they lowered the amount.
The 14.4 million KRW is the difference after the hospital paid 3.6 million KRW to the agent as a referral fee.
They said the hospital suffered damages because of the posts I wrote on a community and Kakao Map. Of course, I only wrote the facts, but I also received a deletion request on this site.
It seems the hospital does not care at all about the damage I suffered to my face. A lawyer in Seoul whom I consulted said it was a clear case of medical malpractice. Everyone is shocked when they see the before and after. The hospital is also saying that they are suing me in civil court.
Also, is a one-person protest legal in Korea? If it is legal, before paying a retainer to a law firm, I am thinking of hiring a part-time worker and trying it once. Could someone who knows well please tell me?
