Today marks exactly 28 days since surgery, so I finally have one month under my belt >< I had been watching other people's reviews and wondering when I would reach one month and three months. I was envious and only lurked, but now that one month is almost here, I am excited to write my review! I definitely saw the major swelling go down at one week, and my face looked slimmer, but during weeks two and three I honestly didn't feel that much had changed or that more swelling had gone down (maybe because I look in the mirror every day). I was quietly stressed, wondering whether my swelling was going down slowly and when it would disappear. It may also be because the stitches inside my mouth were still there. So I diligently drank pumpkin juice, went hiking, walked more than 10,000 steps every day, and went to the clinic for swelling care! I definitely felt less swollen in the evening than in the morning, and I still wear the compression band at night! I thought it might be bad not to use it at all, so I wear it every night to shape the line. I use warm compresses when I remember, especially when it feels tingly or swollen. Until week two, I slept leaning on the sofa with my head higher than my heart, without lying completely flat, so I did not wake up feeling extremely swollen. From week three, I started sleeping on my back with a surgical pillow. It was uncomfortable at first, my back hurt, and I woke up a lot, but now I am used to it and sleep well! Haha (people get used to things quickly, so maybe sleeping on my side will feel strange later? Haha. I am trying to use this opportunity to build a habit of sleeping straight, as if I am correcting a bad habit.) I still brush with a children's toothbrush. I can at least brush my gums with it, and an adult toothbrush would probably be fine, but the children's one is more comfortable, you know? I will use it for as long as I can! Since I can use mouthwash, it is not especially unpleasant, and since I should not open my mouth wide at this stage, it actually makes brushing comfortably easier! So far I have mainly eaten porridge, sweet potatoes, eggs, soup, yogurt, and castella, but today I ate omurice for the first time, and now I can finally eat rice comfortably with an adult spoon!! Of course, I still eat slowly, but this is a time when I need to be careful and eat safely, so I will be as cautious as possible! Also, because there are food restrictions, I have lost weight haha. It feels like the difficulty after surgery has become an opportunity to develop good habits haha. At least that is how it is for me haha. Since I cannot eat spicy and salty foods, tteokbokki, meat, and so on, I have no chance to swell or gain weight haha. People around me know I had contouring surgery, but if I do not say anything, they just think my face is slightly swollen and say they cannot tell at all and that it looks natural!! I am really excited and curious about what I will look like in three months, how much more swelling will be gone, and what the lines will look like >< The clinic also provides good aftercare, the consultant is very kind and professional, and everyone is kind, so I am very satisfied and recommend this clinic. The surgeon is already so famous for skill that I will not say more haha. I will come back with another review looking forward to my appearance in a month! I hope this review helps people who are deliberating like me >< Let's all become prettier😍
