It's a different hospital from my breast surgery, so please don't treat me like a broker ^^ This is my day-of-surgery/day-1 review for 24.5.11 nose surgery! I'll write it in really detailed fashion!!!
I came here after checking my 1-week post-op progress for my breast surgery in the morning (different hospital) and then having surgery here!
✅ Pre-op condition 1. A low nasal bridge 2. Overall a short nose with a long philtrum 3. A small nose that is slightly wide 4. It looks a little better with makeup...
❤️ Reason I chose this hospital My experience of having a huge success here, plus the aesthetic sense and logic that the director pursues, convinced me and made me trust them.
For reference, when I asked what kind of nose would suit me, they answered that rather than forcing a glamorous or natural style onto it, the best answer is a nose that doesn't look awkward...!
✅ Implants and specs for the nose surgery Silicone + septum Because my nasal bridge was low, 4-5 mm They decided to connect it along the bridge so it matched the tip of the nose. And they said they'd lower it a little so the long philtrum would be improved. And I had sedation anesthesia!!
✅ Operation time It seems it ended around 2-4 p.m., and when I woke up in the recovery room it was 4:40-50 p.m.
⭐️ Review right after surgery The groggy feeling from sedation anesthesia lasted until I got on the train! My nose didn't hurt at all, not even 1 bit ❤️ I won the no-pain lottery!!!!!! The moment I looked in the mirror, I gasped and silently shouted yes~~~! So good What if I already like it this much, haha
The nurse came in and said that because there wasn't much bleeding during the surgery, they finished without packing, and that if I bled a little occasionally they would just wipe it away!! A whole new world.....! (see photo)
In the end I left 30 minutes after the surgery lol
◾️ Going home I rode the subway for 50 minutes, then stood on the train for 2 hours, then drove myself home for 10 minutes...! Even though I had sedation anesthesia, the groggy feeling had gone away by the time I got on the train, so driving was easy haha. But it rained a lot that day, so I got a bit soaked and ended up with cold symptoms++
◾️ Meals Because of the sedation anesthesia, I had a shake in the morning, and then only got home at 10 p.m., so I made and ate pumpkin porridge, homemade chicken breast, and cheese-vegetable steamed eggs. My mouth opens wide with no problem!
✅ Cold-compress swelling-care items They were better than I expected and convenient! The hospital doesn't provide an eye mask for cold compresses, but it would be good to use this and that alternately.
Especially the ring-shaped one and the face-covering one are worth keeping!!!! From now on, when my face is puffy in the morning, I think I'll place this on it instead of a spoon lol
✅ Swelling medication Newvein, Triplane, Benosin, Bruna, 4 kinds!!
For supplements, I'm taking several kinds; before this I was also taking medication for breast surgery capsular contracture and scar-removal surgery on my abdomen.
✅ Review from after surgery to bedtime After I got on the train, the swelling around my nose started coming up...! And while reading other people's reviews, everyone said it hurt and was hard,,,, I started wondering if I was a mutant lol Huh, what's this? I'm walking around fine with no packing
In the end I decided to think it was because the director performed the surgery neatly and well hehehe!! ❤️
When I got home, I put gauze over it like in other people's reviews and took photos! It was uncomfortable so I took it off quickly lol It was around 10 p.m. then, and as time went by the swelling kept getting bigger!
✅ Review of nose surgery without packing I didn't have packing, but because the inside of my nose was swollen from the surgery, I still had to breathe through my mouth lol But if I was thirsty, I could just drink water, so it's fine,,, instead I can taste food less when eating, so it's forced dieting lol Is that a good thing? lol There isn't the discomfort that packing causes, but everything else seems about the same lol
✅ First night after surgery I slept sitting up on a triangle cushion, and from 1:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. I woke up every hour and wiped away the mucus with tissue. If you block it and sleep it's fine, but it felt gross so I just slept with it open. I kept waking up because of the eerie feeling of mucus flowing over my nose and philtrum while I was asleep lol and wiped it away with tissue.
There wasn't much, but if an hour passed it would run down, so it was pretty annoying while sleeping 큐
Because of the cold symptoms I coughed and yawned too. No problems so far~!!! ——————————————————— I'll upload the day 2 to week 1 progress every day like I did for my breast surgery, so please wait~!! No ads, no broker. On the surgery day I hit the payment limit, so I broke open -20% in coins and paid with that before surgery (sniffling...) If I get reported, I won't write anymore...!
