Before <eyes before surgery> After <day of surgery> After <appearance after stitch removal one week later> Leaving a fresh review one week after surgery~ I’d been reading reviews in this community, which helped me steady my mind and helped a lot, so I thought I definitely had to leave a review too haha
I hope this helps even a little for everyone considering surgery!
[Eye condition before surgery]
Monolids, not enough strength to open my eyes, habit of using my forehead when opening them wide, and as I got older my eyelids drooped, making me look even sleepier
I had surgery consultations at 3 places
1. Incision + ptosis correction 2. Incision + ptosis correction + fat removal + epicanthoplasty (+ forehead lift) 2. Non-incisional buried sutures + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty + forehead Botox
These were what they recommended.
Both places 2 and 3 recommended those because I use my forehead a lot, but since it was my first cosmetic surgery and anything too excessive felt burdensome, I ultimately decided to do it at the first plastic surgery clinic. (The reviews in the community were good too.)
As a result, even with just option 1, I can open my eyes much more comfortably without putting any strength into my forehead at all, so I’m completely satisfied. It’s to the point that I wonder, was opening and closing my eyes supposed to feel this light? lol
The shape mattered too, but I wanted to fix the lack of opening strength.
For the double eyelid shape, I wanted a semi-out line, but because my eyes protrude a bit, all three places recommended an in-out line lol So I did in-out, and I’m satisfied~
The swelling was the worst on day 1, and from day 3 it was acceptable to look at. By one week, a lot of the swelling had gone down, but the bruising is still there.
One concern is that my eyes look too intense, so I feel like I look scary. Please objectively evaluate how it looks to everyone
