I had surgery for a low, small nose. They used 3 mm silicone for the bridge, and ear cartilage plus septal cartilage for the tip. I emphasized the tip, but only the bridge got higher.. It has been 2 years since the surgery now, and the cartilage is showing through the tip and the shape has become a little distorted.. I’m thinking about revision surgery. Recently my nose has been feeling tight and turning red often, so I visited the hospital wondering if it was contracture, but they said there was no problem with my nose and suggested making the tip even higher. They said there would be additional cost, but honestly I don’t have the means, so I don’t think I can do it. If I do it, I’ll probably go to another hospital And the waiting time every time I go is insanely long..
