I had my first surgery 2 years ago with silicone + ear cartilage, and at the end of December I stayed up all night and drank for 3 days straight, so my nose condition was a bit bad for two months. Then in February, I developed heat sensation + swelling inside the nose + pain, and it got better when I took medicine, but relapsed again when I stopped.. As a result, my nasal tip became hard and the skin got thinner, so even the silicone became very visible, so I had it removed and had revision surgery with donated dermis. Externally, there was nothing wrong except the silicone showing through and the nasal tip being hard, and the inflammation symptoms were something only I could feel, so I went to about 7 places for revision surgery consultations, but all of them said it didn’t seem to be inflammation.. They also said it didn’t seem to be contracture. But right up until just before the revision surgery, I was still taking antibiotics, and my nose was throbbing and felt hot, so I naturally thought there was inflammation. But when I asked after the surgery, they said there had been no inflammation.. Can this happen?? It doesn’t seem like my nose hurt because of some other ENT-related issue rather than the silicone, because only the silicone area hurt, and there’s no way the nasal tip would become hard and the silicone would show through because of that.. Did the inflammation disappear by the time of surgery because I kept taking antibiotics until the day before surgery? Has anyone had an experience like mine..?
