It is already day 7, and I think I have been able to endure it better than expected and am doing okay. From what I had heard before surgery, people said it would be extremely difficult and painful, but... well... it did not hurt as much as I expected, and until day 3 it was only a little difficult. I actually remember rhinoplasty hurting my whole body more... The shape seems to have come out naturally, so I am satisfied. I cannot really tell how much smaller it has become yet because of the swelling. Once a day I go back and forth, thinking, ‘Should I have shaved off more?’ But they say you have to wait until all the swelling is gone to know, so I am waiting. When I touch my face, I can feel everything, and there is not much discomfort—just that I cannot open my mouth wide or eat delicious food. I had cheek liposuction at the same time, so I have somewhat more swelling, but it is still going down faster than expected. I am looking forward to the swelling going down further, and I will come back again in two weeks!
