Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Three-month review after facial contouring surgery: satisfied that my broad-looking face and lateral cheekbones have been naturally refined

It has already been three months since my facial contouring surgery! At first I looked in the mirror every day, waiting for the swelling to go down, and somehow three months have passed The days felt long at first, but looking back now, my facial line has become much more natural, and I feel happy seeing that the areas I was concerned about have been refined:) I had always been stressed about my face shape, and because work often puts me in photos or videos, my lateral cheekbones and broad-looking face bothered me even more I tried changing my hairstyle and getting procedures, but nothing changed as much as I wanted, so I had considered surgery for a long time. These days, when I take photos, I notice the smoother line before I start examining my face shape as I used to, so I am satisfied🤍 I felt my facial line had already improved a lot at two months, but at three months, as more swelling went down, my side profile also feels much more natural. In particular, the lateral cheekbones that bothered me before surgery have been refined, so when I wear a hat they protrude sideways less than before I like looking at my face straight on in the mirror, but when I see my side profile or facial line in photos, I feel I made the right decision having surgery! What I like most is that my face does not feel forcibly smaller or dramatically different; the parts that bothered me about my original face have been naturally balanced. During consultation, they explained overall balance rather than simply making it smaller, and now I think I understand what they meant:) Regarding recovery, most of the swelling has gone down and sensation inside my mouth has fully returned! However, the area around the cheekbone still feels a little slow to regain sensation, so I am watching it gradually. Early on, my mouth was swollen and it was uncomfortable to talk or open my mouth, but compared with then, I am much more comfortable now I think swelling was what concerned me most during recovery. My face sometimes looked slightly different every morning, and I often looked in the mirror wondering when the swelling under my lips and around my chin would go down But when I look back at my old review and photos, I can see that it has gradually become more refined. Changes I did not notice day by day are apparent in photos, so I am glad I kept this record🤍 I had many worries before deciding because it was a major surgery, but I feel I made the right choice having it at Rhee’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Of all the clinics I consulted, they listened most carefully to my concerns, and I was reassured that they told me to think it over sufficiently before deciding. I am truly grateful to Dr. Kim Jong-yoon for refining my facial line in the natural direction I wanted:) There are still areas, such as sensation around the cheekbones, that need more observation, but now that three months have passed, I am satisfied that the face shape I worried about before surgery has been greatly refined I will honestly continue recording how it changes and how recovery feels.
