Nose Re-Surgery

Correction of a Crooked Nose That Looked Short! Four Months After Revision Rhinoplasty Including Columella Lowering

It has already been four months since I had revision rhinoplasty with Director Kim Daehwa at [Clinic A]! Perhaps because I have been doing aerobic exercise regularly, the swelling does not seem very different compared with month three. Still, the overall nasal line has become much more natural. The crooked-looking nasal bridge, asymmetry, shortened tip, and retracted columella line that had stressed me the most have all improved considerably. Now I am satisfied from both the front and side, and I especially think it was an excellent decision to have columella lowering as well. In the past, my nasal tip looked short from the side and the columella was retracted, which bothered me, but now it flows naturally from the tip to the columella, and I love it haha. The pain at the autologous costal cartilage harvesting site has now completely disappeared, and I have recovered enough to exercise at a higher intensity than before! There is almost no discomfort during exercise, so daily life is much more comfortable. The autologous costal cartilage scar remains, but I also received scar treatment at [Clinic A], and I hope it will become lighter with continued care. I am now comfortable enough to forget that I even had surgery, and one of the biggest changes after this rhinoplasty is that I no longer worry about my angle when taking photos as I used to. Since it has only been four months, I am looking forward to seeing how it settles further, and as time passes, I feel more and more that revision surgery was the right decision!
