Nose Surgery Reviews

Review of very successful nasolabial angle correction and rhinoplasty at Edition Plastic Surgery (first nose surgery)

Whenever I looked in the mirror, my mouth seemed to protrude slightly, and my overall impression looked somewhat unsophisticated or dull, so I had been deliberating a lot 🥺 At first I wondered whether I needed orthodontic treatment, but after researching and analyzing things, I realized the issue was not my teeth but the angle formed by my nasal tip and philtrum ( º﹏º。 ). I learned that this is called the nasolabial angle, and if it is narrow or recessed inward, not only can the nose look low, but the mouth can appear relatively protruding and the philtrum can look deeply sunken. Once I understood the structural cause, I decided to find a place that could properly perform nasolabial angle correction rather than simply raising the bridge or tip. Since this was my first surgery, I researched reviews and information very carefully. I visited Edition Plastic Surgery, known for balancing the overall three-dimensionality and proportions of the nose. During the consultation, the surgeon carefully analyzed my nose shape, mouth line, and philtrum angle, which made me feel very reassured. They explained that nasolabial angle correction, precisely adjusting the junction between the base of the nose and the philtrum, should be done together with raising the bridge and tip to make the mouth look more retracted and create a much more refined line. I was touched 🥹 They suggested a design suited exactly to my face shape and image rather than excessive surgery, so I decided without much hesitation to have my first rhinoplasty there ✌(-‿-)✌ Before surgery, my tip was somewhat blunt and the angle with the philtrum was not smooth, making my mouth look prominent. After surgery, the difference was so large that it was amazing. From the side, the angle from the tip to the philtrum looks very natural and beautiful. Because the nasolabial angle correction was done neatly, my mouth looks much more retracted even without orthodontic treatment, and the protruding-mouth impression has disappeared completely haha. Watching the swelling go down, I could see that although only the nose was properly adjusted, the whole face gained definition and the mouth line became more refined. Now I completely understand why everyone emphasizes the nasolabial angle haha. People around me say my impression looks much more sophisticated and that my facial contours became prettier even though I only had my nose done, so I keep thinking I made the right choice..⚈₃⚈ I was scared and worried because it was my first surgery, but thanks to the surgeon who found a line perfectly suited to my facial proportions, I’m extremely satisfied ( ˶˙º˙˶ )୨♡♡ If your mouth looks protruding or your expression feels stuffy, it might be good to consult about nasolabial angle correction rather than simple rhinoplasty. Please research carefully and have a successful surgery, everyone 💖
