Nose Surgery Reviews

How is the difference before and after revision surgery?? I used autologous costal cartilage

Before revision surgery, I disliked how the bridge and tip connected too gently, and the tip also felt round, which was disappointing. Since my lips are on the thick side, the blunt tip made my overall impression look dull, almost fish-like... So for the revision, I said I wanted a pointed tip (I emphasized that I absolutely did not want an overly sharp nose) and a straight bridge with the curve preserved. I like it, but does everyone think it turned out well according to my needs? I thought, “It’s done!” as soon as the splint came off, but during recovery I was worried about the sensation at the tip. T_T It was my first time using autologous costal cartilage, so I did not know whether sensation returned a little slowly. Early on, the tip was hard when pressed and had no sensation, so I worried a lot, but just as the doctor said, sensation gradually returned with time! My first surgery used septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and perhaps because of that, the tip drooped after three years. I think it is better to worry a little at first and maintain the result for longer... haha. For hospitals, I think I visited every place I could, going back and forth asking, “How about here? How about there?” Posting questions was manageable once or twice, but I got tired later T_T. I had lots of free time then, so I do not know whether it would have been possible otherwise, but I visited every hospital I was even slightly curious about. Once I experienced them directly, I developed a better sense for judging hospitals and could filter out places that clearly were not right. If you have plenty of time, everyone, instead of only posting questions, go around and experience hospitals yourselves. Human intuition that cannot be captured in text really kicks in... lol. Anyway, I am satisfied, and I would appreciate it if you could leave your opinions before you go!!!
