I had always been self-conscious about my bulbous nose, and after starting a career in beauty, I went through a period of feeling fed up with my appearance and eventually had rhinoplasty lol. I originally had a dorsal hump and a wide nasal tip, so I got filler on the bridge five years ago. But over time the bridge spread out, and my nose even looked pressed down from the front, which was extremely stressful… Contouring makeup also had its limits, so I began looking into plastic surgery. The saying that fillers ultimately lead to rhinoplasty did not come from nowhere T_T. This time I researched very carefully before deciding. I did not simply want a higher nose; what bothered me was that it looked pressed down from the front. I wanted to preserve the strengths of my current features while creating an overall pure, delicate impression. From the side, I wanted a refined, natural straight-line profile that was not too dramatic, and it was most important that the shape itself become naturally prettier without changing the height much lol. Because I had previously had filler, there were many things to consider during surgery. After visiting several clinics, I decided to have surgery with Dr. Choo Seong-cheol at D-Day Plastic Surgery! I had the bridge and tip done together, along with bulbous-nose correction, hump correction, and cartilage suturing. Ear cartilage was used for the tip! I heard it is soft and good for shaping naturally. Since my skin is relatively thick and raising it too much could cause the tip to turn upward, I followed the doctor's recommendation and kept it natural rather than excessive! Even though I only had my nose done, I keep hearing that I have lost weight lol. I guess reducing the volume makes my whole face look slimmer. What on earth had I been doing to my nose all this time… I should have done it ages ago!!! lol These days I am enjoying taking side-profile selfies. I have not touched any other part of my face! It has only been two weeks, so there is still swelling, but I am happy that the pressed-down appearance and bluntness from the front seem much improved.
