I was a special case unlike others, so I continued orthodontic treatment for over 10 years. From my perspective, if someone’s case is severe, I strongly recommend getting orthodontic treatment. My pronunciation was originally really bad, and I had very severe malocclusion. Of course, it took a lot of money and time, but I don’t regret it. On the other hand, if you don’t have enough of a problem to feel like you absolutely want to do it right away, I recommend not getting orthodontic treatment. It eats up way more time and money than you’d expect, and it hurts too. It can also feel upsetting... Anyway, I hope everyone going through orthodontic treatment hangs in there!
