Currently day 18 after surgery. My eyes have these conditions: thin eyelids + short eyebrow-to-eye distance + slight skin laxity + sunken eyes! During the consultation, they said posterior-lower canthoplasty probably wouldn’t have much effect. At another clinic, when I was told my upper eyelids looked thick, they recommended fat removal, but here they said if I did that, my eyes could look sunken later. The consultation felt honest, so I ended up having surgery there!
It may still be swelling, and it’s not perfectly symmetrical, but other clinics also said that because the structures of my eyes themselves are different, correcting the asymmetry wouldn’t be perfect, so although I’m a little disappointed, I’m accepting it. They said a semi-out line would look sausage-like on me, and an inline crease wouldn’t feel worth the money, so I got a thin in-out line. I hope it stays exactly like the current line There is still some swelling under the double-eyelid line, so I hope it goes down quickly, and it looks super natural. People around me acknowledge that too.
On the day of surgery, they gave me water, gauze, cotton swabs, a compress pack, and a sheet with postoperative precautions. When the stitches were removed, the director checked my progress, but I was disappointed there was no swelling laser treatment.
It’s not dramatic, but it’s natural, and my overall satisfaction is around 90 points! When I was looking for information here, there was so little, so I’m posting this in case it helps everyone who is going for a consultation or having surgery;)
